2022 marks the 125th anniversary of National PTA.
Harrison Park PTA is honored to participate in this year's National PTA DEI grant program. For the remainder of this school year we will be conducting focused outreach to gain a better understanding of our school community. From this outreach we hope to find ways to better support the rich diversity of our school families.

Join us on April 8th for a Day of Service commemorating National PTA's 125th Anniversary! Harrison Park PTA was one of 125 PTA local units across the country chosen for this honor. We will be cleaning the school courtyards. Light refreshments will be provided. This is a family event, so children are welcome with adult supervision. The event starts at 10:00 am and will run until 2:00 pm.

We're partnering with Atlas Pizza again for a pizza night fundraiser support Harrison Park music programs, including Modern Band!

February 17th marks the anniversary of the very first PTA meeting 125 years ago.

HP PTA was proud to support the HP Mandarin DLI with their Lunar New Year Celebration event! We helped out with decorations, and film & video support during the all school lunchtime performances.

For Friendship Day HP PTA purchased a Candygram for every student, teacher, and staff member--you're all our friends! Procedes went to support the Middle School Leadership Team.

We' reviewed & researched program grants for consideration and applied for one. In the past grants have supported events such as Math Night.
HP PTA Treasurer Sachi Knight assisted as a chaperone at this year's Winter Carnival. We also provided toys for prizes. Much fun was had by all!
The HP PTA Board organized food and filled bags for distribution with the holiday food boxes distributed 12/17.
Most bulbs are in and many have been distributed already! There are a few bulb types that are out of stock--we are working to connect with those affected to update their orders--check your emails!

Parent/Teacher Conferences are coming the week of Nov. 22nd! PTA will provide snack bags on 11/19 to help keep teachers fueled and show our appreciation!
The HP PTA Board organized food and filled bags for distribution with holiday food boxes this Friday! And a child (1 of 5) of the PTA President happened by and was promptly put to work (and good work it was, young sir! Now, back to class!).

Co-Secretary Elihu Roberts attended for the Board. Tough questions were asked (and answered!) and best practices shared. It was 90 minutes well spent.
